This ancient historic building accommodates, above the noble storey, seven exclusive suites, all of them offering charming views of the foremost monuments of the town. The late restoration has saved the architectural characteristics while favouring functionality and flexibility of use: some suites can be joined one to the other thus providing family accommodation, on request.
Each suite features a kitchenette, air conditioning satellite TV, Internet and safe box.
The glazed lift, arranged inside the skylight shaft and still used as a way-in for the Family that live in the palace, provides comfortable access to the top floor where a unique view can be enjoyed of the Cathedral Square and the Cathedral itself, the Baptistery and the Bishop’s palace.
It was about the middle of the eighteenth century that the Palace took the present features: the beautiful overall lines, the balcony on the façade boasting a rich wrought iron railing, the arches in the courtyard, a vast room on the first floor, most likely painted by Benigno Bossi, let out the expression of the best skill of that time.
The excellent restoration of the building, completed this year, has brought the medieval square back to its longed-for past look.
A typical farm house recently renewed, with beautiful view on the hills and valleys, is available for private cooking lessons and meals.
