The Byre Vegetarian B&B offers quality non-smoking accommodation while aiming to be as environmentally friendly as possible. The house, originally a 19th century stone-built farm byre, is a unique modern conversion.

The house is simply furnished in a minimalist elegant style. We have been awarded a 4-Star rating and Silver Award under the Quality Assurance Scheme of the English Tourism Council. There is no mobile phone signal in Harbottle but guests are welcome to use our prepaid landline. Harbottle does have Broadband Internet Access though, and guests are welcome to use ours.

We also participate in the Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome schemes, are CTC Approved and have been awarded Level 1 Mobility within the National Accessible Scheme.
