In Valle Maira, at 1540 metres above sea level, 3.5 km beyond Canosio lies a beautiful hamlet, Preit, well preserved and almost completely renovated in the ancient style. Here, set in a sunny position with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, a group of typical "baita’s" offers three star accommodation, b&b or half board in our quality restaurant. What we can offer: en-suite rooms with an infant’s bed if required or a single room with shared bathroom, or in the inn larger rooms with fireplace and balcony and a 4-bed room where an extra bed can be added with special discount. Pets are welcome and meals for your little friends can be provided. What you can expect: A warm welcome , Change of towels every two days, Breakfasts with organic and local food , Refrigerator-bar in two double rooms, recommendations for tours and trips, suitable locations for sporting activities such as trekking, motorbike and mountain bike tours, ski touring, alpine skiing , cross-country skiing, mountaineering (routes are close and merge into GTA tracks) Our own inn Mascha Parpaja provides meals and rents sports equipment. Soon a fitness centre will be ready with a sauna. We are glad to say that we can offer outstanding cuisine with local and piedmontese dishes. Vegetarians are welcome, just mention you are vegetarian upon reservation, in order not to disappoint you and bear in mind your expectations We have a large collection of old and antique tools on display, and a number of books for reading or browsing (though mainly in Italian). If you would simply like to relax, you can enjoy our small garden, the cool and quiet of the "grotto" or rest on one of the balconies. You can also send emails. Our B&B is 100% non-smoking.
