The Ferndale stands to the side of a small wood where birds and wildlife can be observed in their natural habitat and with adequate parking the short walk to the centre of town can be enjoyed at your leisure. This Victorian villa, set within its own grounds was formerly a gentlemens residence, where Londons male aristocracy would take rejuvenating breaks, has recently been taken over by new management and we look forward to welcoming you. Start each day with a good breakfast at the Ferndale, where an evening meal can also be provided at your request. Relax in one of the two lounges, the residents bar or separate alcohol-free area where there is a TV, games and books for your amusement. Each of the eleven ensuite rooms enjoys views over the elegant Torquay town. We have single, double, triple, twin and family rooms all with TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The bedrooms are decorated to a high standard with quality fabrics and furnishings. An Italian four-poster bed is available for that special occasion. Several ground floor rooms allow easier access for the less mobile, whilst the communal rooms are located on the lower ground floor maintaining peace and quiet throughout the rest of the hotel.
