A lovely Victorian house that has been extensively improved to offer most modern comforts, St George's is near to the cliff lift and beach, the old village, Chine and Shanklin town centre. The hotel was built in 1870, retaining many of its original features whilst undergoing regular refurbishment to keep pace with modern hotel standards. We welcome people holidaying alone, families, short breaks, business trips, cyclists and walkers, but regret that we do not provide for pets.

All rooms have colour TV's and hospitality trays combined with the personal comfort of en suite facilities. A baby cot is available for some of the rooms. The sunny dining room caters for up to 30 people and the comfortable lounge area offers television and video entertainment with a generous supply of toys for children. We have a well stocked cocktail bar alongside the lounge with a good selection of beers, wines, liqueurs and soft drinks at very reasonable prices.
