Oakeydene is the home of Alan and Carol Davison and you are always guaranteed a warm welcome, a pot of tea and delicious home-made scones.

There are three guest rooms in all. The double has a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom, the twin has a private bathroom (and can also be made into a double with a super king sized bed) and the single room has the use of the bathroom just down the hall. All the rooms have hospitality trays and the bathrooms have a good range of toiletries to relax and chill-out. In the evenings relax in the sitting room and dining room, kept cosy and warm with log fires in cooler weather. We welcome children and pets.

Oakey Dene is nestled in the beautiful Allen Valley, a short drive from Allendale Town. The rural setting is delightful from the high uninhabited moorland to the fertile farming valleys. Some of the finest walking in the country is available ranging from an energetic hike over the Pennine fells to a gentle stroll in the river valleys.
