Westaway is a Five Star Silver Award guesthouse situated in the centre Ilfracombe.  Guests are greeted in an elegant hallway with parquet flooring and chandelier lighting.

An ornamental double stairway winds upwards, past a large stained glass window, to the guestrooms. A complimentary cooked breakfast is served between 8 and 11 am in the east facing dining room, which extends to a conservatory overlooking a Mediterranean style sun terrace. Westaway has a lounge bar with a fireplace, wood floors, leather furnishings and a wide-screen digital television; a variety of alchoholic and soft drinks are served until around 11 pm. The guesthouse stands in a half-acre of gardens and features barbecue and surfboard cleaning facilities; private onsite parking is available for guests arriving by car.

We are situated in the centre of town, next door to the historic Tunnels Beaches. The picturesque harbour area features pubs, restaurants, souvenir shops and boat tours, is approximately 500 metres away and can be easily reached on foot. Ilfracombe offers a wide choice of dining options, however, we can arrange home cooked evening meals for guests preferring a quiet night in. Smoking is only permitted in the lounge bar. We regret we do not have wheelchair access to the guestrooms, and we are unable to accommodate pets.
