Cary Court Hotel in Torquay is one of the few remaining plantation style houses, built over a century ago on part of the Cary Estate.
The hotel offers tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished bedrooms, with a mixture of antique and period pieces, some with king size beds, all ensuite. All rooms are provided with colour television, complimentary tea and coffee trays and hair dryers. In the lounge large ceiling fans cool you in summer and cosy log fires warm you in winter. Cary Court Hotel is not licensed, but we offer a well equipped Garden Room/Bar, with an ice making machine and chiller cabinet, guests are welcome to bring their own refreshments. Sit on the beautiful verandah on a balmy summers evening and reflect on your day or play boules down by the fish pond or join the fun with Torquays wide choice of night life. The hotel is renowned for its full english breakfast served in elegant surroundings with views over the garden. There is a heated outdoor pool surrounded by south facing, sub-tropical gardens and sun decks(summer use only). Guests may play boules, down by the fish pond, work out in the exercise room, relax in the steam room, or just chill out on the verandah.
The House is situated in the leafy Warberries, a quiet conservation area off the Babbacombe Road. On-site there is car parking space for up to eight cars, and unrestricted on street parking. Only a few minutes walk from the recently restored Marina, the theatre and shopping areas. A wide choice of pubs, clubs, restaurants and bars are close by.
