This 15th century Grade II listed building is situated in the medieval Market Place in the very heart of the historic City of Wells, Somerset

All fifteen bedrooms are en-suite, with colour television, radio/alarm clocks and tea/coffee making facilities. We have four rooms available, with four poster beds at the front of the hotel. Meals are served all day in both our Penn Bar and Anton's Bistrot, with teas, coffees, cakes and pastries also available.

The Crown is overlooked by the magnificent Wells Cathedral and the Bishops Palace with its beautiful grounds and moat.Wells Museum and Vicar's Close are also nearby. The Crown's central location makes a superb base to tour Wells and the many surrounding attractions in this wonderful part of Somerset
