Situated in the heart of the English Lake District, The Ravensworth is a traditional Lakeland stone built house from the mid 19th century. Built originally as a private residence, the change to a bed and breakfast guest house and hotel has retained many of the original features and has been enhanced by the addition of a fine conservatory breakfast room.

We have fourteen bedrooms ranging from single through double, twin and super king size to superior four poster rooms. Every room is centrally heated and each has its own en suite bath or shower, direct dial telephone, colour television, hairdryer, clock radio with alarm. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided in every room. Ironing facilities are available on request. Family rooms are available which can accommodate three people in either a double or twin plus single bed. We also have rooms at the rear of the hotel which have their own small patio area. Our four-poster rooms have little extras such as bath robes and coffee machines. Our superior four-poster rooms are more spacious and include dvd players with a selection of films available. For that special occasion we can also provide sparkling wine or champagne on ice, fresh flowers & chocolates. We are always happy to help with any special requests that you may have.

Conveniently located on the edge of Windermere village, The Ravensworth is ideally situated, providing easy access to the many attractions of the Lake District National Park, whilst being only a two minute walk from the centre of Windermere village itself. We have two car parks at the front and rear providing ample parking for all of our guests. You can expect a warm welcome and a comfortable stay in this most beautiful area... all complimented by a freshly prepared breakfast.
