The self-catering holiday cottage has a lovely romantic double bedroom and a pretty twin room, making it ideal for couples or family holidays. The cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard and retains many of the original features, charm and atmosphere of a tradtional period Cotswold stone cottage, which dates back to c1650.
This lovely cottage has been refurbished to provide a high standard of accommodation. The welcoming sitting room has an original flagstone floor, an inglenook fireplace housing a log burner and offers facilities including a flat screen TV, DVD player and CD player. Games, local information, books, CD's and DVD's are also provided.
Leading from the sitting room is a well equipped farmhouse-style kitchen and breakfast room, with amenities including oven, hob, fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer as well as a good range of equipment for those who want to create a special supper.
To the rear of the holiday cottage (via the kitchen) is a pretty enclosed courtyard garden, with a table and four chairs - Perfect for lunch or enjoying a drink on a sunny day! A stone winding staircase leads up to the first floor landing from the sitting room. This in turn, leads to the bathroom and a very pretty twin bedroom, with two traditional cast iron beds, and antique pine furniture. For guests with a baby, a portable travel cot has also been provided. The bathroom is fully modernised and benefits from a standard-sized bathroom suite and electric shower. The stairs continue up from the first floor landing, to a very romantic double bedroom with antique pine furniture and skylight, giving rooftop views across the old town and church.

Stow is a great place to base yourself and provides a perfect mix of town and country with a wonderful selection of pubs, restaurants and interesting shops on your doorstep as well as lovely walks through beautiful countryside to pretty Cotswold's villages. It is also ideal for visiting the many popular pretty Cotswold's villages as well as larger towns such as Stratford-upon-Avon (45 minutes by car), Cheltenham (45 minutes), Oxford (1 hr) and even Bath (1 hr 30 minutes).
